With a background in computer science and in-depth expertise in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), I specialize in future technologies to create new products and services, connecting unfolding trends with engineering. I work in the intersection between business development and disruptive R&D on mobile technologies, automotive HMI and consumer electronic devices, although my skills can be applied to other technology and UX areas.
I define myself as an inventor, research scientist and engineer. I focus on defining and proving ideas and opportunities through top-down vision driven research and engineering. I create working prototypes that convey an actual feeling for advanced R&D concepts and interaction methods. My work ranges from ideation to technology scouting. From proof of concept to the creation of a path towards implementation and productization.
I currently hold 12+ U.S. patents and more than 200 pending patent applications, have created proofs of concept and prototypes that have been showcased at client events worldwide and major trade shows such as CES. My work has focused in the fields of human augmentation, visual and auditory AR/VR, non-traditional HMI, behind-device interaction, robotically augmented devices, kinesthetic/vestibular directions and interaction, gestural and conversational systems, hearables and post-wearables.
